Honestly, I’ve become obsessed with this kind of make-up and considering I’m not one to follow make-up gurus on Youtube and Instagram, it’s pretty surprising. I just like how it’s out of mundane contouring, creating a mask make-up routine that is popular nowadays. And it just looks pretty! Sparkling freckles created by tiny shimmering crystals and glitter under the eyes add a touch of fairytale-ish fantasy to a look and kinda makes you step out of your make-up comfort zone. You can go for some bright accents or choose a pastel pallet — both will look quite magical and eye-catching.

It actually requires a bit of thinking as to where you can go with that gleaming crystals in the formations of freckles. I think it’s not solely a party look, if you feel like wearing this kind of make-up for an ordinary meet up at café with friends, why not? The beauty of this make-up is that when you are in idol mode you can go hard and compete with a disco ball, but if you just put a couple of freckle-ish accents, like four in some pastel colours, and look incredibly cute, that would be appropriate for a unique daily look.

It’s also important to keep your outfit monochrome and as laconic as possible, since your make-up by itself is a statement. You can just play with eye shadow tones instead. Coordinating the make-up colour with your outfit would also be a very nice idea balancing out of an ordinary make-up situation.
