Seoul Fashion Week has come to an end and that means not only have designers presented their long-anticipated collections but many fashionistas have demonstrated and shown off their outfits and have been captured by streetstyle photographers. And we are aware that Korean style is unique, so I'm suggesting going through current Korean streestyle trends and maybe acquiring new fashion ideas.
Trench game
Nothing matches Seoul spring better than a good old trench. But in the Korean case, who really love oversize, a trench should be loose and baggy, and it had better be beige. A versatile clothing item that can be combined with almost everything and really suits both women and men.

Belt it!
I didn't pay attention at this trend at first (the past belt boom got on my nerves) but then I noticed that this trend has become viral on the kpop stage. Seems like Koreans want to revive the belting game trend, especially when it comes to belting jackets

Lovey dovey
Koreans couples love colour and style matching looks. And as a result it looks incredibly sweet and cute, and what is more important – stylish. Somehow, they manage to avoid cheesiness and turn it into a fashion statement. By the way, style coordination applies not only to couples but to friends and relatives. What a lovely demonstration of sentiment.

Hold on to your hat
Of course, like everywhere else, baseball caps, bennies are popular in South Korea. But there's a special place in a Korean fashonista's heart for berets and bucket hats. No question when it comes to berets - they're pretty, neat and elegant. However, who could imagine that the bucket hat is actually something stylish? They're loved and worn by fashionistas, models and idols (especially when they need to hide their new comeback hair colour). I know that many of you despise them, but Koreans love them and that's all that matters.

Layer Up
The other distinctive feature of the Korean style that appeals to me – multilayers. It's practical and surprisingly gives a lot of props for creativity and variety of ways to style your look. First of all, it's warm; secondly, you can put on multiple shirts, jackets of different colours, mix prints and patterns; the result might be impressive! Of course, only if you do not overdo it. In the Land of the Morning Calm the most popular layered look is a shirt over turtleneck combination. I think people from countries with harsh climate should adopt this trend. Because it's simply a dream come true when you're comfortably and warmly clothed and still look stylish.

Perhaps the most stylish person at Seoul Fashion Week, just get on his level of self-expression.

In addition, you should always remember to adapt these combinations to your own style while referring to these trends. I've noticed one thing many times: what looks good on a Korean might be a catastrophic fail for others. Koreans themselves borrow some western trends without forgetting to customize them according to their own style and mentality. And it applies not only to fashion but also to music and cinema. So, get inspired, make notes, add some individual finishing touches – and a great look is ready!
